Yeah realized a bit too late if they asked us about it, considering their adventure knowledge and they didn't bother to notice how unique he was lol
Well they hate adventures and I guess those people are the only ones who are able to know how special he really is
That and the fact they already despised the job at first, making Rein their first experience with beast tamers. They thought of him as a basis for judging beast tamers but they marked him as useless so any usual beast tamer 'll look like garbage, being unable to do the OP things he did as basic. Their common sense in mater of beast taming is already fucked up. I can understand the concept in a way because I had a similar experience with the concept of "convention". My first manga convention was with a medium convention, in a big city with average interest. For someone like me, loving quiz, blind test and games, it was perfect, with animations all day long for 2-3 days. So when I went in a big convention in a big city ( Japan expo Sud, Marseilles. A smaller version of the one in Paris) I thought it would be even better. But no, it was just Shopland ... and except the classical association who promote the Mah-Jong/ Go/ Shogi, there were NO animation ... it was a big disappointment ...
Dang. I didn't realize bigger expo isn't always better. I went to Comic-Con in San Diego once but it was not the grand thing I first thought either. It was kinda a smaller venue and all divided into this and that ball room or banquet hall... expensive AF too...
Interesting. I've been to small (my university), medium (Sakuracon), and large (Otakon) anime conventions, and I can honestly say I've never been to a bad one. But those were anime conventions, so you better believe there was anime playing all the time. (And rooms full of people playing fighting games too.) Every time I go to an anime convention, I wish I have the superpower of not needing to sleep haha.
Or at least the multi shadow clone Jutsu so the real me could sleep.
Even Rein didn't even know how special he is until he went to the Adventurer's Guild.
this reflects general public, we all will blame others for not doing their job properly, but then we replace them, we notice how good they did their job.
Oh hell yeah, it's very easy to misjudge the difficulty of someone's job when you've never done it yourself, and thus misjudge their performance as a result. I see this a lot in industry, just the other day I heard that one of the upper management at my facility said in a staff meeting that he believed he could drop any random person into a specific position and they could do the job, meanwhile the job requires 6 months of training on top of a four year degree just to be left on basic work without supervision!
Every position of every job is hard, there is a skillset we need to excel at anything be it a janitor or a manager, or the assistant who manages schedules and all that, they may mess up at times, but everything is invaluable (except for relatives' opinions on you and your parents)...
some jobs might not be quite as hard as others, some might have more general skills or be forgiving in some aspects. some are just are you willing to endure...
Shitty incompetent and ignorant management is always an issue in corporate.
Isn't this just a trope from RPGs where you have useless members that you send to the back and never use?
agree such situation also exist, A LOT. We are not super AIs who cant put everyone in right position. There will be always some carry characters.(But real world example from me, for each less productive individual, you get at least 3 who are at least as bad as the original. And those who are good wont stay long in one place.)
For me it's Yuki from Priconne. I DON'T WANT A TRAP WAIFU!!! >:(
I don't know who "general public" or "we all" are, but when I deemed someone incompetent and replaced them, it was always justified.
Maybe it's a thing to do with IQ, maybe it's a personality trait to be professional and perfectionist, maybe it's being good judge of character, no idea, but I never called someone out for not doing their job and was wrong about it when I took over and did it myself.
Maybe my experience is also very limited and there are lots of people out there who call out others and then fail at replacing them.
I know that whenever I left a job place they needed 2-3 other people to do my work because I was on top of things and took care of various different tasks/discplines altogether.
That's nice if you can do all jobs, but careful you might burn out.
I hope I can give a different view on the topic.
The more important thing is that when you call out, is to have replacement ready. (if you have capa sure you can try...but in the long run its inefficient, trust me I've been through it) So you have to fill spot with new unknown person.(where at best you have his/her CV and 5min interview) In my experience there are like 1-2 good picks in like 10 attempts. And 2/3 times you will pick the guy with Big CV who can't deal with required work. (Talk about person who knows 1000 moves and is master of none) And training a Junior from the get-go steals more time than if you'd do work yourself.
So to summarize, blaming others is the easiest thing we can do, but finding appropriate replacement is hard.(it's not Pokemon :P)
Yup, facts
true
Rein was better than most of the tamers.
However i the end his job was jus a tamer. So, even his martial arts and Tank function can't be compared to the other guys in his previous party. Before meeting Kanade his strength (str) was still undeveloped. In this case, at the most he could be considered as "support/assist" in that group. But, as a matter of fact, rein has been having a great endurance. As a party, they should've discuss how to use each abilities to the max especially how to take advantage support/assist job, planning and teamwork plus trust is needed. Those who Fail to do so, usually blame each other and the group got disbanded.
In the case of Rein, he is special, just think about it, a Tamer fighting in the front line
Even if he didn't fight on the front line he could tame shit that had cheat qualities like paralysis poison, scouting squirrels better than rangers and bears, a freekin bear! Unless they are going up against OP intelligent monsters that's quite a line up of just support characters to simplify the job.
accepting a job above their ability, not doing research and running away, wow. They really are a lost cause without him
I would actually want to see an anime story where heros firing mc because of valid reason, like mc is actually incompetent and arrogant af. after mc get fired he will hv chara development later.
You might like Meikyuu Black Company. The MC is really arrogant but also gets his ass kicked sometimes, so it's funny.
I alredy read that yeah it was great
seen a few just like that. usually end up with the mc gets plot no justsu BS like a system or broken item. cannot think of any good ones that fit the description sadly.
Honestly am surprised because it seems like quite common knowledge.
Though perhaps they're a little more on the sheltered side.
I see it's that episode where they realized how op the banished one is while the mc is still getting stronger and gathering harem of animals at the same time.
As someone once said:
"By the time they see your value and worth, it will be too late.
By the time they realize how good you were, you will have already moved on and be great"
whose quote?
Don't remember. All i remember are these lines.
there seems to be increasing trend of hero party being spoiled entitled assholes
I think there's just a lot of manga and novels to use as source material rn, so when one anime gets popular the studios all start producing similar stories all at once.
You're not wrong my guy, tis is spot on. That's how we got the oversaturation of harem, isekai/fantasy, and fan service in general when we just liked a bit of it here and there
It all started with , hero of shield ig
U mean Rise of the Shield Hero's... um, something something, DARKSIDE!
i can imagine Hero's party trying to recruit him again, and then he says "Daga Kotowaru"
I want the mc to say, nah, no time for mid party
A certain anime last 2-3 seasons ago makes me remind of that...Rit and Red reminds me of them
Yeah there's a lot of LNs with this trope, it's almost like the isekai genre all over again, pretty much overused.
yeah! but gotta admit this anime, so far so good.
Yeah, what's really grinding me is that based on what I've read(most of them) with this similar plot(MC getting kicked from hero party). Is that theses guys will do something worse in future, and those things could have been prevented if only these bastards we're killed as soon as possible.
Luckily, this looks like one of those anime where nobody dies.
You gotta love those scenes.
The Hero's Party Members horribly failed an important task as a party.
That is to truly get to know each other well, including their classes.
I can see that they are going to fail their final Hero's Party mission in the future... without a doubt if this continue. They look like all they believe they need to know is distribute task and that's all.
Who's even worse here is the leader of Hero's Party. Bringing everyone together was supposed to be his duty, yet he couldn't even try to learn more about Rein. He has really failed of being a good leader.
no they're not that bright
Most of the troupes like these has that part were they're being shown that banishing the mc is a mistake, and honestly am tired of it, but still satisfying.
Can't wait for them to finally realize
That wizard is the only one, since their heaier is about to.
So the hero's party is beginning to realize just how invaluable Rein was but they can't bring themselves to admit it.
